I went to Race Wars at the Texas Motorplex to test a new tire and wheel setup. I tried out a JMS 17×10 wheel with a Mickey Thompson 305/45R17 ET Street R (http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/drag-tires/et-street-r) so I could get a taller sidewall to get a little more crumple in the tire when I launch. The track wasn’t prepped very well and I ended up slipping on a lot of my runs and forced me to put 13 gallons of fuel (with Boostane) and a 250 lb ballast in my trunk. While I was there I got a chance to race against a bunch of cars, including a super fast drag car that ended up running an 8.6 sec 1/4 mile. I raced the Dodge Demon vs a modded Mustang and the Demon vs stock Mustang Cobra GT500, a car that a lot of people have wanted to see me race.
