I took the Dodge Demon out to the Grand Opening of a new track that opened up nearby, Xtreme Raceway Park, in Ferris TX. Xtreme Raceway is still brand new so there’s not a lot of rubber down on the track, so the verdict is still out on how sticky the track will be, but the facility is the nicest I’ve been to so far. They have a really good concession stand where you can get more than just the regular hotdogs and nachos you normally get. They have a bullpen area underneath the tunnel complete with tables and chairs and a TV. In the concession area they have a TV with a camera on the track so you don’t miss any of the races even while you’re getting some grub. I met a guy with a Hellcat Charger that was modded and he ran a pretty fast time. My friend Phil from Northstar was there as well running his Yellow Camaro ZL1 and his yellow Corvette Z06. It was so packed that I could only get one run in but overall it was a good time and I met a great guy named Greg.
